About Jay Mcknight: Jay first discovered house music at the age of 14 and since then has managed to become one of the most requested DJs in Mozambique, having performed in many of the country's premiere clubs including such venues as Lounge, Docks, Rua d'Arte, Café com Letras, Palace, CFM, Havana Club, Flava After-Hours, Tara, Nr 1, Monteverde, 4 You, Six Level and many more.
At the moment Jay has two residencies; weekly at Docks, a pure Deep, Vocal, Soulful House club in Maputo and bi-weekly one at Indico FM.
Jay style is characterized by Deep, Vocal, Tribal, Soulful influences. "I love to play "Sexy House", he says.
